Review – White Night 2024
Rosy Peraza: Connections
As part of White Night 2024, Rosy Peraza presented Connections, an exhibition that transformed the space into a sensory and emotional journey. The show invited the audience to explore the invisible threads that bind us—to the land, to memory, to others, and to ourselves.
With a warm palette and expressive gestures full of energy, Peraza created an intimate atmosphere where each artwork seemed to breathe with its own rhythm. Textures, transparencies, and layered elements engaged in silent dialogue, evoking fragments of both personal and collective histories.
Surrounded by the magic of the night, visitors found in Connections a space for contemplation and empathy. It was not just an exhibition to be seen—it was one to be felt.
The event also featured the vibrant participation of artists Mladen Ivosevic, JW Carpio, Lobo, Trevor Flores (El Artista Azul), and Mary Flores—each bringing their unique voice and vision to the evening.
In addition, a special workshop led by Dr. Katha Jones offered attendees a reflective and interactive experience, adding depth and meaning to the night’s celebration of art and community.
