Excited that a work of my authorship is at the head of an article of something so important, the pictorial work speaks for itself with the universal language, where my mission has been to show the importance of rescuing indigenous cultures and traditions, this pictorial work represents an indigenous Mayan woman who, after growing corn from the region, shells it and grinds it in the traditional and ancestral style to feed her family, we are in an important and historical moment where we are what we eat, so conserving a corn that it has been the basis of food for many cultures and peoples.
This pictorial work is part of the private art collection of my friends Henry Amador-Batten & Joel Amador-Batten

Mexico is phasing out imports of glyphosate and GMO corn. Supporters say that could reverse years of damage from U.S. trade policy.
